Celebrity Chef Signs on with Hellman’s
Iron Chef Mario Batali consistently expands his brand in diverse areas including his newest endorsement deal with Unilever’s Hellman’s Mayonnaise. Celebrity Chef and NY Times Best-selling author, Mario Batali is both cagey and smart. Some only know the former Iron Chef America from his battles along-side other iconic Celebrity chefs such as Bobby Flay, Cat Cora, Michael Symon, Jose Garces and others, but Mario has a long standing relationship with consumers outside of the elegant pizzas of his award winning restaurant Babbo and the culinary masterpieces of Iron Chef America.
Chef Batali has written a best-selling cookbook focused on the NASCAR fan; interestingly enough called “Mario Tailgates NASCAR Style”. Chef Mario Batali would go to various race tracks to create media events, awareness and sell-through for his book. His down home comfort food is a part of Chef Batali as are his $100 pizzas, so it is no wonder Unilever’s brand Hellman’s Mayonnaise hired chef Batali to head up their summer campaign.
